Beveled Tension Bands are used in chain-link fences to secure the fabric to terminal posts, adding strength to the entire fence structure. This 2 1/2″ (Fits 2 3/8″ OD) Black Beveled Tension Band is constructed from galvanized steel and coated with a weather- and wear-resistant powder-coating which makes it both functional and adds a great look to any fence. With a band height of 7/8″ and a steel composition for strength and durability, this tension band is easy to install and adds stability to a fence. It also provides extra defense against climbing, and should be used with a recommended spacing of 10-14″ apart. Most applications require one less tension band than the height (in feet) of a fence, meaning a 6′ fence would for example require five tension bands. *Please note that due to manufacturing differences, the product you receive may not match the photo.
