The 4″ Black Bulldog Industrial Gate Hinge (but commonly referred to as a butt hinge) is designed for automatic gates. It offers a 90-degree swivel in either direction, with the addition of an offset adapter, it can also swing a full 180 degrees. For single-chain link gates, two of these hinges are required, three for taller gates over 8′ and those with a heavier-than-usual weight, and four for most double gates. It is also equipped with a powder-coated coating that is resistant to weathering, and a pressed steel composition for better strength and durability.
