This 6 5/8″ Black Bulldog Industrial Gate Hinge (also known as a butt hinge) is perfect for your automatic gate installation. With a sturdy chain link hinge construction, this action piece allows for a 90-degree swivel in either direction and can be modified with the additional purchase of a 180-degree offset adapter for a full 180-degree swing. For single chain link gates, two hinges are necessary while three are recommended for gates taller than 8′ and for gates that are heavier than usual. Four bulldog hinges are recommended for most double gates. The steel pressed composition is strong and resistant to wear. The black powder-coated coating is also resistant to weathering.
