Brace Bands are similar to Beveled Brace Bands but without the beveled edges. These bands are used to connect braces, tension wires, or other accessories to fence posts. Made from high-quality materials like galvanized steel, Brace Bands provide excellent strength and stability, contributing to the overall integrity of the fence. Available in various sizes, they are suitable for different fence types and applications, offering flexibility in design and construction.
Our 1 3/8″ Black Brace Band, also known as a rail end band, is an essential piece for building chain link fences and hoophouse frames. Constructed from galvanized steel for increased durability, this band features a black, rust and chip-resistant powder-coated coating that helps make it corrosion resistant. It fits 1 3/8″ fence posts and requires 5/16″ x 1 1/4″ carriage bolts and nuts for installation. The brace band should be installed spaced 10-14″ apart for best results, with one less band than the height of the fence (i.e. a 6′ fence requires 5 tension bands).
