Female Hinges are counterparts to male hinges, attaching to the gate itself and connecting with the male hinges on the post. Together, they form a complete hinge assembly, allowing the gate to swing open and close smoothly. Their design allows for adjustments and alignments, ensuring proper gate alignment and movement.
This black, powder-coated female gate hinge is made with galvanized pressed steel for added durability and style. It fits a 2″ (1 7/8″ OD) gate frame and works in tandem with the post hinge to allow a smooth gate movement. Easy to install, it is resistant to wear and weathering. It requires 3/8″ X 2 1/2″ carriage bolt (sold separately). Please be aware that manufacturing variations may cause the product to differ from the picture.
