Carriage Bolts are used to fasten metal to wood or other materials in fence installations. They have a rounded head and a square neck, which prevents the bolt from turning as the nut is tightened. This 3/8″ Flat Washer is constructed out of durable steel and features a zinc-plated, corrosion-resistant exterior. It can be used with a 3/8″ bolt or screw and securely distributes the pressure applied during installation. The washer also prevents fall-out from vibrations and helps to keep bolts and screws in place. Along with providing an aesthetically pleasing, shiny finish, the Flat Washer also prevents screws and bolts from pulling through materials.
