Tension Bands are essential components in chain-link fences, used to attach the fabric to the terminal posts. Unlike the beveled version, these bands have a flat surface, providing a secure connection and adding strength to the fence. Manufactured from durable materials like galvanized steel, Tension Bands resist rust and weathering, ensuring long-lasting performance. They come in different sizes and are easy to install, making them a staple in chain-link fence construction.
This 4 1/2″ Tension Band is easy to install and attaches chain link material to posts, frames, kennels, and more, providing a secure and long-lasting connection. This band is built from a corrosion-resistant galvanized steel with a standard 14 gauge, and it is designed to best fit residential applications. We recommend using one less tension band than the overall height of the fence (i.e. a 6′ fence with 5″ tension bands). For optimal performance, you will need to use 5/16″ x 1 1/4″ Carriage Bolts and Nuts with the band. Please Note: Due to manufacturing differences, the product you receive may not match the picture.
