Its chain link hinge construction allows for a 90-degree swivel in either direction, and can even be modified with an offset adapter for a full 180-degree swing. This 3″ [2 7/8″ OD] hinge is pressed steel for strength and durability, with a black powder-coated coating for weather resistance. Most single chain link gates require two bulldog hinges, while gates taller than 8′ or heavier than normal require 3, and double gates need 4.
